Mama's Boys Beware!

What happens when you stay a mama's boy for just a bit too long? That's the question posed in this comic new play from Priest Tyaire, adapted from the 2001 hit movie Baby Boy, which was directed by Oscar nominee John Singleton.

Mamma's Boy centers on a young man who never flys the coop. Utterly dependent on his mother, he prevents her living a life of her own, and when she get s a new fiance, things are gonna change. Her bride to be takes it on himself to make her baby boy into a man. This heartfelt touring production stars Vivica Fox, Johnny Gill, Nephew Tommy, Jackee Harry, Shirley Murdock, and 'Lil G' (from the R&B group Silk), and hits the Merriam Theater this November for three days of hilarity.
