Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman co-headline
Indie darlings Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman team up for a co-headline tour of North America this year! The two artists will perform both separately and together on this tour, the perfect pairing for the frequent collaborators who are no strangers to working together; before releasing his own album Manning Fireworks in 2024, Lenderman played guitar on every song on Waxahatchee's album Tiger's Blood that same year, and by 2025 the pair had teamed up with Waxahatchee's twin sister Allison Crutchfield to form the supergroup Snocaps. Catch them on the road again in 2026!
Katie Crutchfield, a.k.a. Waxahatchee, named her project after Waxahatchee Creek in Alabama where she grew up. Initially a solo acoustic project, her debut album was recorded in a week in her bedroom, but she eventually grew the sound into music for a fuller band to growing acclaim for each new record; her sixth, 2024's Tiger's Blood, gained her first Grammy nomination for 'Best Americana Album'.
Before getting his big break signing to Epitaph Records' Anti- label, Lenderman went through the experiences that many in their early-20s go through as they find their way in the world, working menial jobs and occasionally relying on unemployment benefits while quietly working away on his music. After his third album Boat Songs picked up favorable reviews in Pitchfork, The Ringer and others, he joined the record label Anti- for Manning Fireworks and is surely set to be one of his generations great voices.
